Weaning recipe: Perfect banana & avocado purée

Ingredients

  1. Step 1 ½ small ripe avocado
  2. Step 2 ½ small ripe banana
  3. Step 3 1 tbsp yogurt (optional)

Directions

  1. Step 1 Halve the avocado, remove the stone and scoop out the centre. Put into baby's bowl.
  2. Step 2 Add the banana and mash together with the avocado.
  3. Step 3 If your baby is already used to purées, you may want to keep this a chunkier consistency.
  4. Step 4 If you're introducing your baby to protein, stir through the yogurt. Serve straightaway.
