Ingredients

  1. Step 1 500g ripe tomatoes , off the vine and quartered or halved
  2. Step 2 1 small onion , chopped
  3. Step 3 ½ small carrot , chopped
  4. Step 4 ½ celery stick, chopped
  5. Step 5 1 tsp tomato purée
  6. Step 6 pinch of sugar
  7. Step 7 450ml vegetable stock

Directions

  1. Step 1 Put all the ingredients into the soup maker and press the 'smooth soup' function. Make sure you don't fill the soup maker above the max fill line.
  2. Step 2 Once the cycle is complete, season well, and check the soup for sweetness. Add a little more sugar, salt or tomato puree for depth of colour, if you like.
