In a large space pan over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef.

Add the onions and peppers and cook until the onion is tender. About 10 minutes.

Add in the seasonings and salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add the diced tomatoes, beans, pumpkin puree, sugar, and stock. Stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 60 minutes.

Add additional salt, pepper, and chili powder to taste.
